I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist working with adolescents and adults offering both open-ended and time-limited therapy. Which means I look at how our past affects us in our relationships and everyday life. My sessions are available in person, online and by telephone. I enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with my clients, to empower them to move forwards with their lives.

With a background in the finance industry which has included helping develop people in high pressure organisations, I understand the workplace pressure that can arise resulting in anxiety, stress, loss of confidence and self-esteem issues. I also have experience and interest in body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), personality and eating disorders. Additionally, I have worked in a crisis service supporting a range of issues including, suicide, self-harm, abuse, bullying, isolation and anxiety.

My training includes a Master's in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Practitioner Skills for Eating Disorders, before this a Certificate in Therapeutic Skills & Studies and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, meaning I work within the BACP’s ethical framework and abide by its professional code of conduct. This includes treating any information shared in therapy with respect and maintaining the strictest confidence.

I am currently accepting new clients in Balham and Clapham.

Client Testimonials

“Mo’s sessions have been so useful and healing. I have finished every session entirely enlightened and each time more confident in knowing myself and feeling much further along the path of positive transformation. She is caring, attentive, personable, supportive and challenging in all the best ways”.

“I’m so glad I chose Mo as my therapist! She is thoughtful, considerate and helps me to reflect on things in a way I never would have before. She has really helped to make my day to day much more manageable”.

“Sessions with Mo have been of great help in my everyday life. She provides a safe, comfortable space and a welcoming atmosphere for each session. I recommend Mo as a respectful, trustworthy and empathetic therapist”.

“Mo’s sessions have been caring, honest, and supportive. Having tried therapy in the past but not had any progress, it is refreshing to find someone who understands there is no ‘one size fits all’ model and who wants to help you find the tools which allow you to help yourself. She is empathetic and professional, and I feel respected and heard in our sessions.”

“Mo has always been supportive and understanding whenever I have talked about traumatic events and these qualities have helped create an environment in her sessions where I've found it easier to share things that I find difficult to talk about. Mo has been incredibly helpful in helping me to reframe events, highlight repeated behaviours and I've found the sessions genuinely thought provoking”.

“Mo has been my therapist for 9 months now. I am so glad I found her. I can relax in her company knowing everything is confidential and non judgemental and she is listening attentively. I now have some insight into my anxiety.”

“As someone completely new to therapy, I approached it with slight nervousness and skepticism. However, from our very first session, Mo put me at ease with her ability to create a safe space where I quickly felt comfortable discussing intimate thoughts and feelings. Over the subsequent sessions, I gained profound insights into how my past has shaped my present and as a result acquired tools to become a better partner, parent, professional, and person overall. This process has given me newfound confidence and comfort in speaking my mind more openly, and it has truly been a life-changing experience for me.”
